DIY Hair Mask Using Kitchen Items

Last week I dropped gems on how to care for your skin using household items, but this week I want to give your hair a little TLC. It’s no secret cold weather can leave your hair dry and brittle, or the sweat from going to the gym (yay New Year resolutions) can leave your hair in a frizz. Let’s lock in some moisture, regain that shine, and leave our hair feeling wonderful with these recipes! Double the recipe if you have long or thick hair, and reduce it if your hair is shorter or thinner in texture.

Nourish

Currently writing this article with this mask coating my hair. My hair loves this and soaks up all the nutrients from the avocado, oil, egg, and honey. Revive those damaged curls— it’s a must try!

1 egg

2 tablespoons of olive oil

2 tablespoons of honey.

3) Allow to sit on hair an additional 20-30 minutes before rinsing out.

Grow

A combination of spice, oil, egg, and almond milk is said to promote hair growth. Combine these ingredients and make sure you take a before pic of your #lengthcheck so you can see how much adding this weekly mask aids in your #hairgoals.
